Introduction
Recognizing blood on a suspect has always been considered evidence of foul play and implies criminal involvement. Remember those classic statements," caught red handed" and "blood on his hands" that imply guilt? Perhaps Shakespeare's line, "Out damn spot," best expresses the
frustration of a suspect who fears he will be labeled guilty because of the compelling evidence of blood, real or imagined, on his person.

Read the case of "Spanish 101 would have helped", a case where a failure to communicate lead to murder, or did it?
Fortunately, the blood patterns at the scene spoke the truth. Newport Beach is a unique place. Eclectic in the broadest sense, it has one common factor that ties the community together: wealth. A drive down Coast Highway illustrates the nature of the city. While driving southeast along the Mariner Mile, one passes a row of automobile dealers who stock cars most of us only see in the movies.
